What’s with the recent trend in movies? Zombies, aliens, vampires and end of the world disasters. What happened to the feel good, like the fun movies of the 80’s? Seems like another world now. Movies like Vacation and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Movies now are so depressing. I like the recent batman movies, but this last one was just SO DARK. I kept waiting for the good guys to win and on and on it went into a deeper and darker place. Not for kids, that’s for sure. There is a dark cloud over the entire movie industry. There has to be a market out there for the good guys to win and a positive message of hope and redemption.
